Our achievements : Embedded systems success

Embedded systems are stand-alone systems that combine electronics, computing and mechatronics, and have a Human-machine interface (MMI). E.RE.C.A engineers have implemented these types of projects in various fields such as viticulture or transport.

Physiocap ® : Vine shoot measurement

Field: Viticulture
Project: Mapping vine vigour through automatic ground measurement to optimise quality. Solution patented by E.RE.C.A.
Technology:GPS, GPRS, Bluetooth, Android, PHP/MySQL, HTTPS, TLS/SSL
Achievement: Design and development of the PCB, development of the data server and web platform.

Geotrans MD : Geofencing

Field: Transport of hazardous substances
Project: FUI11 and FUI15 projects (by Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region) consisting in geotracking lorries that transport hazardous substances.
Technology: GPS, GPRS, Bluetooth, MQTT, SSL/TLS, PHP/MySQL, Java for Android
Achievement: Design and development of the PCB and the embedded software, development of the data server, the web platform and the Android application.

Europilote 

Field: Road transport
Project: Display and automatic calculation of the driving times of the lorry drivers through an  embedded module
Technology: µC 32 bits, GPS, LCD display
Achievement: Design and development of the PCB and the embedded software.

Pulve Expe

Field: Agriculture
Project: Spray control and management for agricultural experimentation equipment
Technology: µC 32 bits, RS232, GPS, flowmeter, Bluetooth, Android
Achievement: Design and development of the PCB, development of the embedded software and the Android application.

Beauty cream manufacturing machine

Field: Cosmetics
Project: Beauty cream manufacturing with ingredients contained in pods.
Technology: TFT colour display, BLE, stepper motor, Android.
Achievement: Development of the PCBs that control the motor and the hydraulic pumps

Figaro Robot

Field: Luxury industry
Project: Ball robot control with a smartphone. This robot is intended to bring a bottle of champagne to the customers in hotels, restaurants, etc.
Technology: µC cortexM4, Bluetooth LE, DC motors, quadrature encoders, H bridges, PID, NFC, IMU.
Achievement: Design and development of digital and power electronics and the embedded software.

Yacht remote maintenance and high depth tracking

Field: Nautic environment
Project: Add sensors and actuators to a yacht for the remote maintenance and high depth warning.
Technology: Microcontroler with RTOS, 4G module, BLE module, IMU, GPS, CAN bus.
Achievement: Design and development of the PCB and the embedded software.
